Automatic Language Growth

This is a great technique for learning any language. It is an immersion program that teaches you how to speak a foreign language by using skills that children use to acquire fluency. You listen, watch, and guess in class for 1-2 years until you start speaking. This means you learn a new language from the beginning like a child would, not by building on your native language, thusly linking words that don't translate exactly from one language to another.

Watch, Listen, & Read Unbiased News

Learn English while watching, listening to, and reading the news online. You can download the news broadcasts to your MP3 player and print the transcripts to improve your listening, vocabulary, and grammar. If you'd like you can also practice some of the expressions of reported speech by trying to tell people you work with about what you heard in the news broadcasts.
